Alive Beach Resort is situated in the serene beach town of Harihareshwar, on the west coast of India. An environment and pet-friendly resort, it provides you with an opportunity to indulge in an exquisite getaway that combines breathtaking views with the comforts of a quintessential Konkan home.
Boasting a private beach, our charming little resort was started with the intention to provide tourists with better amenities and a luxurious holiday experience that’s a cut above the rest. Our team has put in long hours and a prodigious amount of effort into establishing Alive Beach Resort as an unparalleled destination for a rejuvenating trip to Harihareshwar.

Our Approach
Private cottages that liven up your vacation
All the five spacious cottages have been designed with a view to rejuvenating the traveller in you. We have four double-occupancy rooms and one suite, which has the capacity to accommodate up to 8 guests - perfect for groups. Each room offers a different feel and charm to its guests; we call them:

- Little Wood
- The Nest
- Fantasea
- Ocean Breeze
Each room comes fully equipped with a king-sized bed, tea/coffee maker, intercom, hot running water, television (smart TV available), attached restroom with a western-style loo, free parking facility, housekeeping, and a balcony overseeing the property and the beach.
We also provide free, high-speed WiFi with each room, however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted reception owing to the existing geographical barriers.
Sustainability at the centre of ecotourism
Being eco-sensitive means we have had to cut down on some wasteful luxuries, including plastic, but we understand that the tropical climate can sometimes be unforgiving. For this reason, we have installed air conditioning units in every cottage to give you a pleasant environment round the clock.
All rooms offer you access to complimentary filtered water stored in locally sourced, sustainable clay bottles as we don’t endorse single-use plastic on the property. We also offer complimentary breakfast in the room - each day something new.
Travel with your pets
Pets are always welcomed so long as their parents are mindful of their safety and whereabouts. If your furbabies are not fully trained, we advocate using a leash in the common area to ensure your fellow guests are comfortable during their stay.
Service and safety go hand-in-hand
As promised, the entire resort is designed with traditional Konkani décor elements but we have ensured to keep the property completely secure under 24/7 camera surveillance. The rooms are sanitised and cleaned every day to ensure you have a healthy stay with us.
For any assistance, the front desk is at your beck and call throughout the day. At night, we have a bonfire!
The one who started it all
Growing up as a true Konkani, Prathamesh Kulkarni had always been fond of beaches and the nature that surrounded his life. He purposed Alive Beach Resort to put Harihareshwar on the map because he still feels that the true potential of his hometown remains untapped.
In its truest sense, Prathamesh is one of those rare hoteliers who is tremendously involved in his resort. He wholeheartedly believes in the concept of “Atithi Devo Bhava” (The Guest is God), which is why customer service is at the heart of Alive Beach Resort.
